A Spring Herbal Workshop

A seasonal herbal education series exploring the plants that grow around us.

This month’s workshop focuses on dandelion — a plant that many of us have spent years trying to remove, spray, or mow over. It shows up uninvited, grows wherever it wants, and somehow keeps coming back.

And yet… it’s one of the most generous and useful plants of the season.

In this workshop, we’ll take a closer look at dandelion with a bit more curiosity and a lot less resistance — exploring how something so often labeled a nuisance can actually offer meaningful support during seasonal transition.

While the roots are often the most talked about, the flowers themselves are rich in beneficial plant compounds, including antioxidants that support the body’s natural response to inflammation and environmental stress. Traditionally, different parts of the plant have been used to support digestion, skin health, and overall vitality.

Together, we will explore:

• How to confidently identify dandelion in the wild
• When and how to harvest flowers respectfully and sustainably
• Traditional and modern uses of dandelion, with a focus on the flowers
• How to begin working with infused oils for topical use
• Simple, practical ways to incorporate seasonal plant support into daily life

We will begin a dandelion-infused oil together and create a simple, nourishing balm using prepared dandelion oil so you leave with something practical and ready to use.

This workshop is rooted in slow learning, seasonal awareness, and reconnecting with the accessible plant wisdom growing at our feet.

This class is for educational and wellness purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

No prior herbal experience is needed.
